It’s not really in my best interest to make my overnight houseguests as comfortable as possible, seeing as I wish most of them would leave about 2 hours after they arrive. But I still support the Englander Microfiber Air Mattress, and appreciate the support it itself provides, because when I’m an overnight houseguest in others’ homes I often find they feel the same way. And I’m better off bringing my own sleeping situation.
Touting its “silky soft” microfiber flocking as the first of its kind to show up on an air mattress, Englander says their inflatable bed is both strong and durable, and delivers comfort akin to “sleeping on a cloud.” A fully microfiber exterior supposedly provides 20% greater puncture and abrasion resistance, and 30% more tensile strength. The microfiber fabric is also thermo-regulating to help control chills and night sweats.
Englander Microfiber Air Mattresses come in Twin, Queen, and California King sizes. The beds use their built-in air pump to inflate in between 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 minutes, depending on size, and deflate at the push of a button small enough to fold and stuff into an included carry bag.
