Oh boy, Dad, this one’s for you. The Chair Gym appears to express no irony in calling itself an all-in-on total body workout system that’s “great for all fitness levels.” I would add, particularly the fitness levels who normally rock out Mary Ann Wilson’s Sit and Be Fit videos, but feel their progress has hit a slump, and that it’s time to upgrade to a more pimped out chair with built-in workout bands and – ooooh – a Twister Seat.

Now keep in mind, The Chair Gym can support only up to 350 pounds, but if you and your lady are on the non-American side of the scale, in addition to a delightfully cheesy strength workout, I might also recommend The Chair Gym as a much less expensive alternative to a Bowchair.

The Chair Gym comes equipped with everything you need to perform 50+ exercises for your your arms, chest, shoulders, abs, back, and legs – including 5 instructional DVDs (’cause Dad definitely still fires up his DVD player!) and a printed workout guide.

The chair portion of The Chair Gym is basically a folding chair with a pair of foam roller backrests. It does fold flat for under-furniture storage when not in use.
